I take being silly very seriously. Give me a brand, a premise, a half-formed idea, and I'll find the funny in it, then build the world and characters to hold it up. Everything here is work where I held the vision from concept through execution.

Unsettling Savings

I pitched this idea unpromped to Honey’s Head of Brand, and to my surprise, he approved it. With a budget of $5k, I wrote, produced, directed, edited, animated, and sound designed this project.

Start Motion

The head of content at New York Film Academy wanted a video featuring our equipment. I pitched making the gear itself stop-motion, and he approved it on the spot. From there I storyboarded and directed it, and handled the shooting, animation, editing, and sound myself.

Honey Horror Trailer

During COVID, our team had a weekly movie night. Horror was up next, and the host was cutting together trailers beforehand. I had a silly little idea and ran with it: no budget, no lights, no problem. It killed at movie night, a producer passed it to the head of brand, and it went up on Honey's social channels. An internal team joke became one of Honey's highest-performing Instagram posts.

Pie

A self-initiated pitch for Pie, a browser extension that blocks ads, built around a cute pie character. I conceived it, wrote it, then designed, modeled, rigged, and animated the character and created a temp logo animation. A full concept, built solo, because the idea was too fun to not make.

I wanted to turn some of my favorite movie scenes on their heads, so I built a web series where I use visual effects to insert myself, totally uninvited, into dramatic scenes for comedic effect.
