I was late to Fantasia.

It wasn’t my fault, my babysitter had decided last minute to take me to the movie. The only seats left were the front row. Even with my neck craned way back, I was unable to take in the entire picture. My vision completely consumed by the screen, I was dumped into a fantastical world beyond logic and rules. I was familiar with it, and nearly said out loud, “It’s like that in my head”

And that’s how I got bitten by the filmmaking bug. I knew I wanted to make people feel what I felt in that moment, to put them in the front row of my imagination.

I graduated Watkins College of Art, Design, and Film in Nashville, Tennessee in 2007 with a BFA in directing, then furthered my studies at the American Film Institute Conservatory, earning my MFA in directing in 2013. Since then I’ve directed a number of web series, short films, and music videos.

I’ve got a passion for comedy (it’s the majority of what I make as a filmmaker), but I’ve got a soft spot for drama and inspiring stories. Over the years I’ve honed my skills as a filmmaker, have developed a critical eye, and am always pushing to make sure each end product is better than the last. My motion graphics and VFX skills elevate and raise the production value of each project I work on.
